BRBN flying high with John

BRBN members look forward to a good turn out on a Wednesday morning and this week did not disappoint with regulars as well as some new members and guests - it’s always great to see new faces! Richard Williams came as a visitor from What2guard.

This week’s 10-minute slot was kindly presented by John Turnbull, Director of TA Aerial. The group met John last week at the BRBN Open Morning and were fascinated by his line of work - a drone pilot!

John gave a great presentation and had his audience engrossed. He introduced his company TA Aerial and the services it provides - mainly surveys to a range of industries that may require aerial photography, including estate agents and the agricultural industry.

John brought his drone along to the meeting, which uses top of the range technology, to put his presentation in greater context. Getting up close to such a high-tech piece of kit perhaps reminds us of how far technology has brought us over the past decade or two! Thanks go to John for an interesting introduction into his trade!

Next week, as it is the last Wednesday of the month, we can look forward to another session of exercise with Sam from Strong for Life. No exercise bands next week, Sam has a surprise in store!
