Is it the journey, not the destination that counts?

An enthusiastic session at BRBN with an interesting 60 seconds round, and a great breakfast! 

The 10 minute presentation was given by Amanda McConnell, a travel counsellor based in Beverley, who gave us a wonderful insight into her experiences which have led her to becoming a travel counsellor. An upbringing in Kenya and a background amongst a wide range of people developed into a love for travel and customer care. Amanda has had a varied career, but her current focus is on providing the best service she can for her customers to ensure they are cared for throughout the process - from booking the holiday, to stepping off the plane after their holiday has finished. 

Thank you Amanda for your talk, it is always interesting to look at a journey rather than focussing on the destination. Our experiences and the lessons we learn through life make us into the people we are today.
