Small change, big impact

The phrase ‘small change, big impact’ can be applied in many ways, as we discovered during Wednesday’s BRBN meeting. There were some very notable - and some poignant - points raised in which those words meant a lot. 

Whether it is getting fit and eating healthier, doing DIY and repairing some wiring, or producing a website for a company, we can all have a go, and the majority of the time do a decent job. Sometimes though especially if we don’t know what we’re doing, the task isn’t completed properly and we need to ask the professionals - those trained to do the job and aware of the pitfalls. That small change of just asking a trained specialist could have a massive impact, and can help avoid any unintended mistakes if we had just done it ourselves. 

Likewise, ‘small change big impact’ can be applied to our attitudes too! At BRBN we know that being the person that lights up a room on walking in can make a big difference to those we share an office with. Don’t be the rain cloud, be the sunshine!
