A fresh Wednesday morning brought many people to the warm cosy, newly-decorated Tiger Inn at Beverley today and it was great to see some new faces to boot!

Andy Burton, from Burton Electrical Solutions chaired the meetings and gave a warm welcome to new businesses in the fashion, and outdoor cleaning sectors.

Sam Linton of Aeonian Projects gave a 10 minute presentation and briefed the group on her career history, which has mainly involved project management as well as community work. Currently working with GDPR and data protection, helping businesses to remain compliant in the face of new regulations and tighter controls, Sam described what her business can do and how individuals on the wrong side of the law try to achieve their aims.

Tony Hall, BRBN treasurer presented a £500 cheque from BRBN to Annemarie Foster, a Member of the Board of Trustees at The East Yorkshire Foodbank, which is based in Beverley. This donation will support The East Yorkshire Foodbank to continue with their vital work in the community supporting those, who through no fault of their own, have hit hard times.

A positive and altruistic start to a great day!

BRBN promote local business and give back to the community.
