A positive start for 2020 at BRBN!

BRBN 8th Jan (6)

Beverley Referral Business Network’s first meeting of 2020 was full of optimism and had an excellent turn out - a promising sign of things to come!

Many business owners are experiencing their busiest time of the year, whilst others are relaxing after the rush of Christmas. A number of members shared their goals and expectations for 2020, whether it be launching a new course, facing new challenges, or expanding into a new area of interest.

There’s plenty of events going on at The Tiger Inn in January too, not least the massive undertaking proprietor Allen Slinger is taking on! Allen amongst others plan to walk 57 miles from Hull FC’s ground at KC stadium to Headingley Stadium - Leeds Rhino’s ground, after Robbie Burrow’s recent shock diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease. We’ll keep up with Allen on his journey.

The 10 minute presentation was given by Josh Richardson, who also chaired the session. Josh, a Chartered Financial Planner from Informed Financial Planning, gave us the lowdown on why choosing Chartered is best. Whether an individual or a company, Chartered status provides an assurance of competence, integrity and ethical practise.

If you think you or your business could benefit from a reliable network of individuals from other business sectors, then why not come along to the BRBN open day to be held on Wednesday 22nd January? We’re a friendly group of like-minded individuals and will provide a warm welcome.
