Networking: The road to helping others
21/10/2020

Wednesday 21st October, BRBN start the day with the usual weekly get together.
The weeks seem to be flying by and as we slip well into Autumn and mornings grow increasingly dark, BRBN meetings are consistently buoyant and cheerful.
Seeing the optimistic side of any situation is important. At present, whilst the media is dominated by Covid-related stories, businesses in and around Beverley continue to open and expand, which is definitely good news for the town.
Wellbeing was the underlying message of today’s networking meeting. Fran Dunning, who presented the 10-minute slot this week, pointed out that as business owners and networkers we meet many people through what we do. This also puts us in the privileged position to help others and give back to our community. Fran mentioned many charities that do some exceptional work in the local area, supporting individuals and communities, and bringing people together for all sorts of different activities.
We can also help ourselves. So, as was pointed out in our ‘Reminder’ slot: Turn off the news, give yourself a chance to enjoy the positive things in your life, and perhaps take the time to step back and look at your goals for 2021!
Working together delivers results together, BRBN networking for growing businesses.
