BRBN networking Variety is the spice of life
28/10/2020

Variety is the spice of life!
A supportive network is something we all need from time to time, whether that be family, friends, colleagues, fellow business owners or indeed all of these! People who are empathetic, understanding, and generous with their time and knowledge are equally invaluable in times of triumph as in times of difficulty (think no further than Covid-19!).
A member of our group, who for the past year or so has been a regular substitute for business owners unable to attend meetings, recently launched their own business. The support and encouragement they have received as a consequence has been inspiring. Details to follow in a future post.
Fittingly, our ‘reminder’ slot today covered life experience and the great diversity that BRBN as a group brings to the table. The network includes individuals at various stages of their working life, as well as various stages of business ownership - from those that have just set up to others that have been in business for a number of years. Life experience can only be acquired through living, but sharing our experiences and supporting others is a wonderful use of it!
Today’s 10 minute presentation was given by Dave Tunstall of East Riding Wills. As well as getting to know more about Dave personally, we benefitted from an increased awareness of how to plan for the future and make the practical aspects of death easier for grieving family and friends.
So, if you think you’d like to be part of a supportive, informative and diverse set of business owners, why not join us on our Open Morning on 4th November at 7.45-9.00am?
