Business as usual as BRBN embraces change!

This week’s meeting was an ‘Open Morning’ and guests from a variety of sectors were warmly welcomed by regular members.

The meeting was, as usual, full of good humour, and (dare I say it!) even a mention of the ‘C’ word: Christmas! With December fast approaching our editor in residence, is now officially working on the Just Beverley Christmas issue.

With another lockdown upon us and a continuing need to meet digitally, our ‘Reminder Slot’ of the week was to ‘embrace change’, which is great advice for any business owner. Possessing agility and positivity in the face of changing circumstances is a useful trait!

One main feature of the meeting today was a presentation by Lynne Auton of Stipendia Payroll Solutions. As well as learning a little about Lynne’s background and the extent of her experience in payroll (a lot!), we also found out about the breadth of Stipendia’s services. From processing furlough claims to communicating with HMRC, Stipendia is a payroll company that does everything it can to meet their ‘Customer Promise’.
