Do you ‘check, communicate and coordinate’?

There are times when online networking meetings are perhaps preferable to ones in person, and given the time of year and the weather outside, today’s meeting may well have been one such incident! That, however, did not dampen the spirits of our members, and this morning, joviality was the order of the day.

The three ‘C’s or ‘check, communicate, coordinate’ formed the basis of the good business practice ‘reminder slot’ today. Using this principle when engaging in business externally or organising matters internally ensures that vital information doesn’t get overlooked; it avoids mistakes and delays, which could prove costly. Check your priorities and ensure you pursue them too; as we have found the priorities of one business rarely match with those of another!

In a change to normal proceedings, this week members had the chance to find out more about each other with short 1-2-1 discussions in breakout rooms. Getting to know other business owners as people rather than just as the face of their business, results in better relationships and more referrals, and you never know what you might learn!
