BRBN adding value to business

Brbn 9th Dec (1)

Business as usual at BRBN: adding value to business.

This week’s meeting was quite a busy one, it was well attended and the members were bright and on the ball to say the least. Before we got down to business, the meeting was full of cheerful chat and good humour; both the B (Brexit) and C (Christmas) words were mentioned, the mood was lightened and quips were flowing left, right and centre. First on the agenda though was the 60 seconds.

As business continues to cope with two lockdowns and various restrictions, it has become apparent how important networking is. John Olivant provided the 10 minute slot, which focussed on adding value to your business. These are certainly times when we need to take a step back, look at what we're doing and focus on how we can provide that added value to fellow business owners, clients and colleagues alike. John's presentation certainly showed the value of working on the right things. If you’re interested in learning more, get in touch with John (details on our Members page).

The usual round of referrals and testimonials followed. It was great to see good, quality referrals being passed along, with genuine ‘thank yous’. It just shows we can all work together on many different levels.

On the close of the meeting, current convenor Jordan Newton, announced next week's meeting to be the last of 2020. New member Lewis Northen will present the final 10 minute presentation of the year.
