Good news at BRBN as 2020 comes to a close.

The final BRBN meeting of 2020 took place this week and there was some great news from some of our members. Travel Counsellor Amanda McConnell has some particularly good news - Travel Counsellors has been named the Best National Travel Retailer of 2020. This is surely testament to their hard work and dedication to their customers. Well done Amanda and the whole Travel Counsellor team across the country!

This week’s meeting was all about taking stock. It’s been a pretty tough year for many businesses and 2020 has seen numerous changes to every aspect of our lives. There have been some unexpected developments in certain industries and others have had to face some severe restrictions.

Regardless of what 2020 has brought, the end of the year is always a good time to look and plan ahead for changes we’d like to make in the year to come. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to be grateful for those things we do have. 

This week’s 10 minutes was presented by Lewis Northen of Lewis Northen Funeral Directors, a family run and Beverley-based business. Lewis spoke passionately about his career and dispelled a few myths about the Funeral Industry. It was an engaging and informative talk about a topic we so rarely speak about.

The first meeting of 2021 will be held on Wednesday 6th January. In the meantime we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
