BRBN has a spring in its step!

Spring was certainly in the air at this morning’s meeting. Following the recent announcement by Downing Street things are looking up. The warmer weather also helps! It’s now far more pleasant to go out and enjoy a walk.

We welcomed some new and returning members to the meeting this morning too. Lovely to see such a diverse mix of professionals from a variety of sectors working together for mutual benefit. 

This week’s presentation was delivered by business coach, John Olivant, an author with much experience in the business world. Based on the theme ‘know, like and trust’, the basis for most networking groups, John gave us an entertaining talk about his background prior to taking on his current role. With a variety of jobs in the UK, USA and UAE, he has certainly seen the world.

The education slot this morning put the spotlight on mindset and provided the group with a chance to look the daily choices they make. Many situations in life — be they personal or professional — can either be seen as obligations or opportunities. The choice we each make will determine our approach to the situation and ultimately, what we get out of it.
