This week was the final session for solicitor Leon Lurie as meeting chair, and it was full of good news. The recently reopened Tiger Inn continues to be a hit with customers as restrictions lift on outdoor socialising. In fact, various members of BRBN have enjoyed a few social pints after not having met in person for over a year!

As business owners, we all know how important 1-2-1s are. If you don’t get to know and keep in touch with other business owners, networking slowly grinds to a halt. Even as people pass through the many networking groups, maintaining contact is vital to keep those connections alive.
Sound knowledge of what others do is imperative if you want to recommend and refer them. This week, members learnt more about Ian Gostellow of Graywoods, the insolvency specialists. Ian gave the group a detailed explanation of the various pathways to insolvency. He dispelled some myths and gave some sound advice. As a business owner, establishing business safeguarding procedures and having a good understanding of your options is essential.
