BRBN prepare for the return of in-person meetings!

BRBN 2nd June

Ian Gostellow took his place as chair of the network for June, ensuring that the meeting stays to time and flows nicely!

At the start of the meeting, each member introduced their business. A chance to learn more about each individual and what they do: it’s also the start of the know, like and trust process.

During last week’s meeting, the group was posed some questions: Why do we attend networking groups? How do we get the most out of networking? And how does working together benefit our networking activities? After a year and a quarter of virtual meetings, perhaps our current answers are different to what they would have been before March 2020. Networking allows us all to make solid contacts, give valuable referrals and move our businesses forward.

When BRBN was first conceived, the vision was to have meetings in person. The pandemic meant many business networks had to go online, and BRBN was no exception. Now that restrictions are slowly lifting, BRBN members can now look forward to finally networking in person again!

The first in-person meeting the group hope it is to take place on Wednesday 30th June at The Tiger Inn on Lairgate in Beverley. Following this, the third Wednesday of every month will be held in person. And given there are restrictions on numbers for Covid-related safety reasons, physical meetings will include a virtual component.

And don’t forget, the BRBN Virtual Open Networking event will be held on 9th June at 7.45 am. We look forward to seeing you there!
