Networking to improve business relationships.
25/06/2021

At this week's meeting, there was a synergy of words, as many members touched on the theme of Know, Like and Trust. These words represent a step-wise process by which both business owners and their clients get to know each other.
Trust was the subject of the education slot too. What is trust? Who would you trust with what? You’d trust your best man with your wedding ring, but would you hire him as a plumber or to write your will?
What makes you and your business different? What makes you stand out in a crowd? Providing a business with a testimonial is equivalent to saying “I trust you” for all to hear. Others will read your testimonial, and if their experience isn’t the same as yours, it will reflect poorly on the business and possibly on you. All thought-provoking questions that, when answered, can lead to some positive steps forward.
Flourishink was the business in focus this week. Flourishink is a copywriting service run by Lara Blythe, who has been a member of the network for over two years, both as a business owner and as a substitute. Lara’s presentation was well received and prompted a variety of questions and requests for 1-2-1 meetings. We’d certainly take that as a success!
