A positive atmosphere leads to a more positive networking experience!

BRBN 1st Sept (1)

September is the month of change. The close of summer, the start of autumn. Children going back to school and businesses moving into the later parts of the year with renewed vigour.

Change was the order of the day at BRBN in the network’s first meeting of September. An in- person meeting at that, hosted by The Tiger Inn. The new chair for the month was Copywriter Lara Blythe of Flourishink, who enjoyed chairing, despite the nerves! Positive news, both business and personal, was in plentiful supply, and the group welcomed a new member too!

Ed Downey of Navigation Wealth Management took the spotlight for the education slot. To emphasise the importance of the Know, Like, and Trust maxim, Ed used Ronaldo’s recent signing at his former club Manchester Utd. Although Ronaldo could have signed with many other clubs, his previous experience and knowledge of Manchester Utd may well have played a part in his final decision!

The business in focus this week was Infinics, owned by James Lee. During the presentation, the group found out more about James and how he became involved in IT support. They also learnt more about the proactive IT support Infinics provides and all the other services they offer. All in all, a positive meeting with an extremely upbeat atmosphere. Lots of laughter too, in amongst the serious business; something which makes networking even more enjoyable!
