Do you have a Plan B? The importance of a backup plan.
02/11/2021

The final session of October meant the last session hosted by Stuart Anderson. Members brought plenty of positive business news, from new vehicles and new offices to an exciting merger. Plus, some interesting industry developments were also mentioned. With two subs present, and one new business represented, it was a dynamic meeting.
This week, the education slot aligned with national headlines on ‘Plan B’. Although most of the UK was perhaps focussed on the government’s plan B in light of the current Covid-19 situation, BRBN focussed on the advantages of having a plan B for all aspects of business and life. Sometimes, for a whole variety of reasons, plan A doesn’t work out. These reasons could be entirely within our control or completely beyond it. Regardless of the reasons why it’s always wise to have an alternative plan in place, another way to reach those goals, just in case. “There’s more than one way to skin a cat”, as the saying goes.
As well as being host, Stuart Anderson of WPA Healthcare gave this week’s presentation. Stuart gave the group an overview of his varied experiences and career history. Due to his father’s work commitments, Stuart frequently moved areas when he was young and has lived in both England and Scotland. For the past 15 years, however, he’s worked full-time at WPA Healthcare in York. The York franchise, which Stuart took over from his father, is within the top 10 of the 85 WPA franchises in the UK.
