The C word was mentioned!

Fergie (5)

BRBN mentioned the  "C" word, Christmas! Whilst still in September preparations and plans are in progress on the build up to the festive season.

A well attended meeting ensured that the time flew, with the good news, 60 seconds, the Education slot and a great breakfast to keep everybody happy we then handed the stage over to Allen at the Ferguson Fawsitt to tell us about the Ferguson Fawsitt and build up to the festive season.

Allen mentioned, "The Fergie provides an array of entertainment which plays a vital role in building community spirit, offering a space for locals to gather, relax, and enjoy shared experiences".

Traditional activities like quiz nights, live music create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons of all ages. Quiz nights often spark friendly competition, while live bands or acoustic performances provide an engaging backdrop for socialising.

Allen commented, "We are now able to host comedy nights, open mic events, themed parties, catering to diverse tastes of our locals and attract an audience from far and wide. These events not only entertain but also help strengthen connections with our neighbours, support local artists, and offer an affordable way to unwind".

BRBN endorse Allen's sentiments, as he continues to hold the BRBN meetings and keeps the group up to date with what's on at "The Fergie". A pub transformed from a local watering hole into vibrant hub for community life, bringing people together for fun, laughter, and memorable nights.

As we moved to the final section of the meeting it was great to see, witness the number of referrals being passed amongst the group.

Next week is the usual Virtual meeting. Thursday 26th September.
