BRBN welcome Route 53
08/08/2025

BRBN have over the years given thousands of pounds to local charities and good causes, they are always on the look out for those that go the extra mile!!!
BRBN Networking is a powerful group that builds meaningful connections and opens doors to collaboration and growth. When business professionals and individuals come together with a shared purpose, they can achieve far more than alone. One of the most impactful ways to use these connections is through giving, at the meeting on 7th August, Peter Delaney who set up Route 53 in memory of his wife.
Peter cycled from Lands End to John O'Groats, on a five week quest as a lone cyclist!
Peter and his route 53 co-ordinator Julie, were invited to present to BRBN, Peters exploits, his plans for 2026 to cycle around the Island of Ireland and some amusing anecdotes from his initial ride.
BRBN were moved by the heart felt presentation, they were in awe of the motivation Peter has to help raise money to find a cure for such a cruel condition.
Raising money to support local charities like MND (Motor Neurone Disease). Supporting MND not only raises essential funds for research and care but also brings awareness to a devastating condition that affects many lives.
BRBN understand by uniting our networks and resources, we can help create a ripple effect of compassion and change, supporting such inspirational people like Peter.
Giving isn’t just about money, it’s about time, support, and shared purpose. Together, we can make a lasting difference in our communities and beyond.
The meeting continued as always, with a renewed interest in why we network, support and help each other.
Next meeting is a Virtual meeting on Thursday 14th August.
Open meeting Thursday 2nd October.
