OPEN DAY AT BRBN

On the Last Thursday of April BRBN held an Open Day.

A networking open day provides valuable opportunities for individuals and businesses to connect, share ideas, and build professional relationships. It allows attendees to meet potential clients and partners in an informal environment.

BRBN put on these events to help improve communication skills, increase confidence, and create opportunities for collaboration.

Julian commented, "Networking open days help people stay informed about industry trends, services, and the support available within their community or sector. Building strong professional connections which can lead to future business growth, job opportunities, and knowledge sharing".

Maddie from Rent East Yorkshire, delivered a very informative 10 minute slot. Understanding the UK Renters’ Rights Act.

Maddie mentioned, "It is important for both tenants and landlords. The legislation aims to provide greater security and fairness within the rental sector. Proposed changes include stronger protection against unfair evictions, improved housing standards, and clearer rights for tenants regarding repairs and rent increases".

By understanding these rights and responsibilities, tenants can feel more secure in their homes, while landlords can ensure they remain compliant with current regulations and maintain positive relationships with renters.

The Renters Rights Act is here it has brought some of the biggest changes to the lettings industry in decades.
